So unless you are living under the rock, you would know that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have parted ways. Okay, fans of the couple take some time. Take a deep breath. Calm down. So, this is it. The IT couple of Bollywood has finally called it quits and there is no scope for reconciliation either. This break up has again brought the uncertain, flimsy side of the film industry to light where the dynamics of friendships and relationships just change overnight.But, anyone following Bollywood would observe that the cracks between this hot couple was visible since a couple of months now! Yes, despite the accidentally leaked kissing pictures’and the duo’s closeness at the Kapoor family bash during Christmas! Ranbir Kapoor’s track record is chequered by many women, many affairs. A single man standing in Bollywood has this reputation apart from Ranbir. And he is the industry’s Bhai, Salman Khan. The two men of course were in love with the same woman, but apart from it there are quite common factors between these two hunks. Take a look.

Salman with his rockstar image and lover boy looks was a favourite among the ladies (and still is). He was linked to the glam dolls of his time : Sangeeta Bijlani, Somy Ali and then of course the most beautiful woman in India, Aishwarya Rai since very early on in his career. Ranbir too came into the industry with his link up rumours in tow. He has been linked up with his EVERY co star, apart from Minisha Lamba and Priyanka Chopra till now. Ex flames Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor even openly bitched about him on national television after he unceremoniously dumped Dippy for Kat. This is exactly the kind of image Salman has. We love him for his killer charm, we hate him for the way he changes his women!

Both Ranbir and Salman have a ‘maa’ factor common to them. They love their moms and make no bones about it. They do not go beyond their moms’words and it’s true. Neetu has always been extremely critical of his son’s choice when it came to his girlfriends. While she had a love-hate relationship with Dippy, she was not too fond of Kat, and it’s a fact. There is a common thread between both these men and equation of their ladies with their mommys. Anyone who dates either of the two men have to pass through a litmus test set by their mommy dearest.

Well, here’s hoping that like Salman, Ranbir too uses his new found single status to increase his female following! Like Salman, even he may just rise to fame though he still has a long away to go.
